Valerie Egan (she/her) is a multi-disciplinary storyteller, Sagittarius, and lifelong Oregonian drawn to the intuitive expression of emotion through animals, figures and nature. Her sometimes surreal work is characterized by bold palettes, wry humor, and symbolism.
She lives and works in Portland, which rests on the traditional village sites of the Multnomah, Kathlamet, Clackamas, Chinook, Tualatin, Kalapuya, Molalla and many other Tribes who made their homes along the Columbia River.
